The predecessor of Huatai, Yuyao Agricultural Machinery Factory was created. It mainly produced lathes, punching machines, and walking tractor at that time.

This time, we started to produce plastic machinery parts, such as screws and barrels. The annual production capacity was 300 sets.

We came to make plastic machinery sets. The products we can provide that time include plastic extruder, small vertical type plastic injection machine, plastic film injection machine, wire and cable units, pipe equipment, and blow molding machine.

The XZL series rubber injection machine was in development.

The first Chinese rubber injection machine was born in our company.

In 1999, we were renamed as Yuyao Huatai Rubber and Plastic Machinery Company, and it is still in use today.

We introduced the first CNC machine tool in Huatai. After that, dozen sets of CNC machining centers and testing equipment, such as the FH-8800 horizontal CNC machining centers from Mazak, and the coordinate measuring machine from Hexagon were included.

Huatai won the National Torch Program and was recognized as a well-known rubber and plastic injection machine supplier in China.

We cooperated with Ningbo Huangda Precision Instrument Company to provide a batch of rubber molding machines for NOK in OEM mode.

Huatai established partnerships with Tokai Rubber Industries, Nishikawa Rubber Company, and other well-known Japanese companies, and provided them various specifications of rubber molding machines.

Our rubber & plastic equipment was certified by CE standards and entered the Europe and America markets.

As the main drafting unit, Huatai successively drew up 7 national safety standards upon the plastic and rubber injection machine: GB22530-2008, GB25432-2010, GB/T25155-2010, GB/T25156-2010, GB/T25157-2010, HG/T3229-2001, and GBT/30200-2013.

The Ningbo Engineering and Technology Center was created.

Huatai was accessed as a national high-tech enterprise. The same year, our ‘Watai' rubber injection and molding machine was certified as a famous brand in Ningbo by the Ningbo Famous Brand Product Certification Committee.

The project of Ningbo Engineering and Technology Center Building was finished.
